Recycling Program

In 2009 CSCC initiated a recycling program for on-campus recyclables in order to reduce the amount of waste generated on campus that goes to the landfills.  The materials that this program recycles are aluminum cans, plastic bottles (#1 plastic only), paper, and cardboard.  This program is unable to accept recyclables from off campus at this time.
It is important to recycle so please take your home recyclables to one of the three Bradley County Recycling facilities at Urbane Road, Peerless Drive, or the Bradley County Landfill. If you live in Hamilton County and would like to learn about your recycling options please visit the Hamilton County and Orange Grove Center websites.
Currently volunteers are needed in all areas of the program.  If you’re interested in learning more about how you can participate in the Cleveland State Community College Recycling Program or have questions about the program please contact Suzanne Bennett at (423) 472-7141 ext 273 or email sbennett@clevelandstatecc.edu.
