J.M.W.Turner exhibition: On-line competition   

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Turner best essay contest. We are glad to say that received more than 100 entries for the contest. The jury panel consisting of British Council and the Children's Center of Aesthetic Education «Museyon» staff selected the best 20 works.

At the closing ceremony of the Turner exhibition on February 16 in the Pushkin Museum the winners of the contest were announced Six of them came to the ceremony and were awarded prizes and diplomas from Irina Antonova, the Pushkin Museum Director,  Rosemary Hilhorst, Director British Council in Russia, and Julia Mazanova, Director of Corporate Communications department of «Art and Sport» foundation .

The main prize, the trip to Turner's homeland and the tour of the UK museums was awarded to Anna Selezneva.

The winners will be contacted shortly and will receive their prizes: a guide book to the museum from the Pushkin museum, Turner exhibition catalogue from «Art and Sports» and diplomas from the British Council.
