When can I take the test?

You can take an IELTS test at our centre in Manama. All tests begin at 0900. The listening, reading and writing tests are taken on the dates below The speaking test may be on the same day or on another day, usually a Thursday.

Test date registration ends 2 weeks prior to the exam date or when all available vacancies have been occupied.

How much will the test cost?

The test fee is BD80.
Please note that there will be a BD15 extra charge for overseas candidates.

When will I get my results?

You will be able to view your results through IELTS results page 13 days after the test date.
Local candidates will be able to collect their Test Report from the and overseas candidates will receive their reports by courier. (Saturday test results available on Thursday, Thursday test results available on Wednesday).Results cannot be given out over the telephone, by fax or e-mail.

How do I prepare for the test?

We can help you prepare for your test with an IELTS study pack, containing a CD-ROM, handbook, exam information, and practice papers. The pack costs BD15.

Can I change my test date?

You can request a change to your test date and this will cost a transfer fee of BD 10. However, you cannot make this request less than five weeks before the test; if you do, you will need to pay the full registration fee again.
All you need to do is to fill and submit the Transfer/Cancellation form.

Can I cancel my test?

Yes you can. However, all cancellations must be made at least five weeks before the test date and will be subject to a cancellation fee of BD 10. If you cancel your registration less than five weeks before the test, you will not receive a refund.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, you can. Just complete an application form online.
