Culture shock

While Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan city, students are likely to experience a certain culture shock as they adjust to an East-West lifestyle which may often appear similar to back home yet work differently in unexpected ways. At the same time, these differences provide a fascinating opportunity for students to gain alternative cultural perspectives, an experience which should be of immense value in future careers and life. Students arriving with such awareness should find studying in Hong Kong exciting, challenging and rewarding.
