青年科學家國際交流計劃旨在讓英國與香港的年輕科學家聚首一場，互相交流理念、專長和心得。
今年活動主題為<<建築節約能源效益>>，一連三天的活動於1月16日至18日舉行，由英國文化協會與香港大學合辦。
1月16日：9位來自英國De Montfort University的Institute of Energy and SustainableDevelopment的博士後研究生，與7位來自香港大學和理工大學的學者，於研討會上發表最新的研究結果，吸引40位本港的研究生出席，並熱切參與討論。
1月17日：英國的學者參觀香港機電工程署總部及香港科學園，了解香港在環保建築的發展。
1月18日：英國與香港的學者共同探討兩地將來合作的機會。
