我们和《财经》杂志合作的媒体项目旨在为财经记者提供专业培训并促进媒体报道的权利。
此项目主要包括设计培训课程和教材，供中国的新闻学院使用。同时，我们分别于2004年和2005年邀请16名记者赴英国进行为期两个月的培训。我们还将在国内组织一些小型活动，向更多的财经记者推广英国培训的内容，并且就媒体广泛关注的报道权利问题进行研讨。本项目周期为2003年至2005年。
2006年1月12日至13日约60名来自中英两国的财经记者、学者和政府官员将在北京参加“金融市场的法制建设与媒体角色”研讨会。会议代表将讨论财经报道的有关案例和中国金融市场法制建设中的媒体角色。英国大使馆文化教育处将在会议上发放2004年和2005年财经记者培训项目的培训教材。
