The British Council Canada administers one scholarship programme, the Chevening Scholarship, which is aimed at Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents who intend to pursue Masters level studies in the UK. Canada is one of the priority countries for Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships (SSS), a substantial programme of scholarships of up to 200 awards, each worth £2000, towards the tuition fees of a one year Masters course at any of Scotland's higher education institutions.
