Study in the UK isn't just books, essays, and exams: it's student life at its finest, with
opportunities at every turn to settle into British culture.
Restless for ways to fill your weekend? Students are spoiled for choice with things to
do, but if you need some ideas, these five ways are just the tip of the iceberg:
1. Win a prize. Stop by quiz night at your student union or local pub and give all
your hard-earned knowledge a place to run free.
2. Watch a game. Take in some football, rugby, or cricket with the locals for a taste
of what UK team loyalty is really like. Keep up with the Rugby World Cup through
the month of September and see who wins the Webb Ellis Cup.
3. Have a cultural cocktail. Most UK museums are free of charge - and you can
enjoy loads of festivals and fairs at a reduced rate with your student ID card.
4. Take a walk. Did you know there are over 623,000 acres of National Trust land?
From mountains and valleys to gardens and coastline, there are some spectacular
views to be had - so take a stroll and see the sights.
5. Travel, travel, travel. The four countries of the UK - England, Scotland, Wales,
and Northern Ireland - are chock full of nooks and crannies that await exploration.
Choose from a host of natural and man-made wonders, or stop by cities that offer
the best of vintage charm and urban life on the vanguard of everything innovative
and eclectic.
If you're still shuffling papers, let us help sort you out - read on to find out more about
