What is this course for?
CELTA is an initial qualification for native and non-native speaker English teachers with little or no previous teaching experience. It opens up a whole world of exciting teaching opportunities. Because it is awarded by Cambridge ESOL, part of the world-famous University of Cambridge, you can rely on its quality and recognition.
Whom is this course for?
The course is designed for people starting a career in English Language teaching, looking for a career change or career break. Course is intended for those who want to work in Further, Adult and Community Education in England and Wales.
Applicants must possess a standard of English which enables them to teach at a range of levels. This will be tested during the selection process. As the number of places is limited, suitable applicants will be accepted onto the course according to the date of receipt of their application.

Dates and fees
The course will take place from 23 February to 21 March 2009.
