Of course, it’s not all about work, work, work; we also understand that when you study at the British Council you don’t just want to learn English – you want to have a great time too. This is why we are offering a programme of social activities for all British Council students so you can enjoy using your English in relaxed, informal surroundings and get the most out of your time studying with the British Council.
Speaking Club
Speaking Club is a great opportunity to meet new people and practise your English. At these sessions you can chat to other students, and comminicate in a relaxed atmosphere. The aims are for students pick up new vocabulary, grammar and ideas through conversation, improve fluency and listening skills, practice what they have learnt in class and of course it’s a chance to make new friends.
Please note that the Speaking Club is operated on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 25 people. Our Teaching Centre students of all levels are welcome to join the Speaking Club for free. Please talk to Customer Services team for details. Club schedule:
