What do young people think about EU-Turkey Relations?

In order to bring the views of young people to the Bosphorus Conference of this year, the British Council and the Center for European Studies of the Middle East Technical University are jointly organising workshops in 3 cities.

In every workshop, there will be one Turkish and one European expert speaking on the themes of the Bosphorus Conference and after speeches, university students who are the participants of the event will engage in group sessions where there will be detailed discussion.

This year’s Bosphorus Conference themes have been identified as “Update on EU-Turkey Relations”, “The EU and Turkey: Preparing Together for Globalization” and the “The Future Shape of Europe”.

Following these workshops, up to 5 participants from each of the 3 cities will gather in İstanbul to consolidate the main concerns of young people which will be conveyed at the Bosphorus Conference
