Do you need to improve your staff's English? We can help you in 2 main ways.
1.By running custom-made courses exclusively for your employees either at your premises or at the British Council.
2.By finding them places on our regular public courses.
Custom-Made Courses
The advantage of custom-made courses is that they are designed to meet the exact needs of your employees, whether you need a short course to improve basic telephoning skills, a course to develop presentation or negotiation skills before an important business trip, a longer-term course to work on all-round business communication skills, specialist English for banking / marketing / HR or even a general English course to help you socialise more confidently with English-speaking business partners.
Whatever your needs, all aspects of the course are discussed and agreed with you before we start. This includes:
-Syllabus, materials and methods of delivery.
-Length of course.
-Days and times of the course.
-Assessment and reporting systems.
The courses are designed by our Business Development Manager who specialises in designing custom-made courses for corporate clients. The process for designing the courses is as follows:
1.Initial meeting between you and the Business Development Manager to discuss your company’s training needs.
2.The employees who are going to attend the course are level-tested and interviewed. The interview is both a chance to assess their level of spoken English and to discuss their training needs with them directly.
3.A course proposal is drawn-up. In this proposal we consider the company’s training needs, the course participants’ training needs and the professional assessment of the course design team.
4.The course proposal is discussed and amended so that all parties are satisfied with and clear about all aspects of the course.
5.The course is delivered. All aspects of the course are reviewed regularly between the trainer, the participants, the company and the Business Development Manager to ensure full client satisfaction.
The cost of these courses is 130 dinars per hour if the course takes place at the British Council and 145 dinars per hour if the course takes place at your premises. If your company is located outside the centre of Tunis there will also be charges for travel costs. These prices do not include coursebooks.
