EDUCATION

Creating learning opportunities

Whatever your needs and whichever way you prefer to learn, we can offer you the right opportunities and support. We can help you develop your skills through exams, give you the opportunity to study English in the UK and advice you on funding your studies.

STUDY IN THE UK

If you are considering studying in the UK why not start your journey online at www.educationuk.org. This website contains everything you need to help you whatever stage you are at in your decision making.

Funding your studies

In response to the Government's announcement of £6 billion cuts to UK public sector expenditure, the Foreign Office is conducting a thorough review of FCO programme spending. This includes the Chevening scholarships programme. The results should be agreed at the end of June or in early July.

Professional Development for teachers of English

We aim to help English language professionals expand the use of English as a major language in Tunisia. So if you are a university or school English language teacher or language assistant, we can support your work through various networks and online resources, including professional forums, networks and teaching materials.

Regional ELT project

As part of the British Council’s programme of regional projects in the Near East and North Africa region, a series of teacher training workshops has been developed by a team of English Language Teachers and Trainers from Lebanon, Morocco, Syria and Tunisia.

Connecting classrooms

Connecting Classrooms is a five year programme that establishes a strategic framework for shaping the agenda for International Education in schools. This will be achieved through 3 core elements of Collaborative Curriculum Projects, Professional Development for Internationalising Education and International Awards.

Skills for Employability

Skills for Employability is a British Council programme that addresses the demand for skills in a global economy so that national and training systems are better able to respond to labour market demands and learner needs.
