At the British Council we would like to help you to maximise your learning potential in English and help you to become an effective language learner. To learn English well, your teacher, your course and your course book are important, but the most important person is you.
Borrow books and DVDs from the Learning Lounge to give you extra practice, or watch English movies at home or in the cinema. There are many excellent resources on the internet. The British Council has its own websites and other products and services to help you to learn English more quickly in a fun and motivating way.

LearnEnglish Podcasts are a way for you to practise your English language listening skills. You can listen on your computer, or download to your mp3 player.
