Thai-UK Education Festival 2008

Global Citizens; United Futures

25 January – 15 February 2008

The Thai-UK Education Festival or EdFest is renowned as the largest educational event in south-east Asia. This is the eight year of collaboration and opinion-sharing by personnel from every level of education in Thailand and the UK. Each year, more than 10,000 students, parents, teachers and policy makers in government and educational institutions come to explore new approaches in teaching and learning as well as educational opportunities in the UK.

EdFest08 is organised by the British Council in partnership with the Ministry of Education and other partners who commit to support educational reform in Thailand.

This year, EdFest will focus on global citizenship and student mobility under the theme ‘Global Citizens; United Futures’.

Running within the festival is the EducationUK Exhibition, a showcase of universities and other educational opportunities open to Thai students.
