The “Learn Chinese in China” courses took place in July 2009. Jointly managed by the British Council and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) and supported by the DCSF and Hanban, this year there were two outstanding opportunities for students in this country to visit China with their schools: the Language Immersion Courses and the Summer Camps. The courses were divided between intensive language teaching and cultural activities.
