Joint Chevening Awards

The FCO, the British Chevening Scholarships, in partnership with Royal Holloway, University of London is pleased to announce one joint Royal Holloway/Chevening award for talented graduates and high-flying young professionals from Russia who are seeking a unique opportunity to study in the UK and acquire new skills and knowledge.

Royal Holloway is ranked among the UK’s top university institutions for both teaching and research. Since Queen Victoria presided over the grand opening ceremony in 1886, the College has continued to grow in size and status, building on the excellence of our scholarship and talents of our students. The College now has a student population of over 7,500 with students from over 120 countries.

The award is available on a competitive basis for the one-year programme and is open to the following postgraduate courses:

MSc in Environmental Analysis and Assessment
MSc Practising Sustainable Development
MSc International Relations, in any of the following streams:
Democracy, Politics and Governance
European Politics
Global Politics
International Law and Politics
International Relations
International Relations Theory
New Political Communication
Political Research
Political Theory
MSc Economics
MSc Sustainability and Management

The terms and conditions of the joint Royal Holloway/Chevening scholarship are absolutely identical with those for the core British Chevening Scholarships. The priority subjects, the selection criteria and the selection process are the same. The only thing you should do if applying for the joint Royal Holloway/Chevening scholarship is to mark Royal Holloway, University of London and the preferred course as your first choice in the application form in Part D.
