Course aims
This new course is aimed at those needing to use English in the legal profession, particularly within the area of commercial law. The course will improve your ability to read and write common legal text, increase your comprehension of English and develop your speaking skills. You will also get extensive vocabulary and language practice relevant to the law.
This course will also prepare you for the International Legal English Certificate (ILEC), a Cambridge certificate recognised by leading law firms, university law faculties, lawyer associations and government employers. It will also show you the necessary techniques and tasks needed to take the exam in order to maximise your potential.

To benefit fully from this course you should be placement tested between British Council levels: 5a - 6c (CEF B2/C1).
