If you are studying, you will want to know how to use your time and effort to maximum effect. Our “Study skills” collections have the answers. The books encourage you to establish your own learning strategies and develop simple tehniques for managing your study time, reading, improving your comprehension, taking notes, gathering information, working with numerical data, giving presentations, writing essays, assignments and reports, researching and writing your dissertation, thinking faster and more creatively and improving exam performance.

The library offers you online creative exercises to practise and develop your English. You can access them via the computers in the Network Central, during opening hours.

- SKY PRONUNCIATION SUITE: Four easy-to-use programs to improve your English pronunciation skills. The suite covers areas such as individual sounds, word and sentence stress and linking words together. Suitable for pre-intermediate level and above
- TALK NOW: Learn simple words and phrases through a series of listening activities. Compare your own recording of the vocabulary to the Talk Now presenters'. Suitable for beginner / elementary levels
- PHONEMIC CHART: Enhance your pronunciation using this dynamic phonemic chart
- FLEXAUTHOR: Tailor-made interactive exercises at six different levels.
Our library has dedicated a special collection to junior Teaching Centre students: books for children and teenagers, covering English language learning, fiction and non-fiction. Only junior Teaching Centre students can borrow books from these collections.
