Teacher of English

British Council Bucharest is looking for experienced and enthusiastic local teachers to join our teaching team as collaborators for the next academic year starting in September.

Job requirements:

at least the Cambridge CELTA/Trinity TESOL diploma   
specific knowledge, skills and experience related to teaching young learners at primary and secondary level of at least two years consecutively   
an undergraduate degree and a TEFL-Q qualification (DELTA or equivalent), or be TEFL-I qualified (CELTA or equivalent) and committed to further training   
a highly proficient user of English across all skills (CEF C2)   

The Bucharest Teaching Centre is expanding rapidly, and has a strong commitment to providing extensive training opportunities for teachers such as the Distance DELTA and the opportunity to take the TYLEC young learner extension course which is delivered in Bucharest.

For more experienced teachers we offer opportunities to develop teacher training, mentoring and line management experience. As well as the opportunity to develop new skills, we offer an attractive salary and regular opportunities to supplement this with IELTS/ESOL examining work.
