The IELTS exam

What is IELTS and who is it for?  The knowledge that the letters stand for International English Language Testing System may not be terribly enlightening for many people so this article provides information about the examination, what it is, and enables you to listen to an interview with two people who are about to embark on a short preparation course for the exam.  You can also go to our main IELTS introduction and practice section.
