Voice Recognition    

Voice recognition technology is being used more and more in a wide variety of applications. It is quite common now to 'talk' to a machine when, for example, you call an IT company's helpline. Software applications are being developed that allow you to talk to your computer, for example you can dictate directly to a word processing programme.
