These 30 hour courses are timed to finish just before you take your exam. They are for teenagers and adults, and aim to provide general language development as well as maximise performance by familiarising participants with the format of the exam and developing essential exam skills through strategy training and practice activities. We concentrate on developing the underlying competencies required for successful study. We dedicate time to developing language and practising the skills acquired.

During the course, alongside general language development, you will receive an introduction to each of the question types in the chosen exam, together with advice on strategies and tactics for approaching each task type. You will work in groups, pairs, or by yourself, depending on the requirements of the task, and you will use a variety of resources, including multimedia, to help you develop your level of language and your exam technique.
