FOUR EASY STEPS TO REGISTER FOR THE IELTS TEST
You should register for the test at least two weeks before the test date to ensure availability of slots. Some tests fill up very quickly.

Test Fee (Php 8,640). British Council accepts the following forms of payment: cash, manager’s cheque payable to the British Council and bank deposit through Banco de Oro branches. For those who are decided to use the bank deposit facility, please email britishcouncil@britishcouncil.org.ph for further instructions.
Provide two (2) passport size coloured photos signed on the back. Please check the photo specifications written on the application form. We will only accept photos that passed the photo specification listed on page iv of the application form.
Provide photocopy of a valid National ID which can be any of the following: passport; PRC ID; SSS or GSIS ID. Your ID should still be valid on the exam day.
Do not forget to sign the form and keep pages i to iv of the application form and read the "Notice to IELTS Candidates” very carefully.
Page 3 of the form, Institution Applications, will not be processed during registration. Please disregard this page.
All payments should be in Philippine Pesos only. Credit card payments and cheques from foreign banks are not accepted at this time.
Candidates based outside the Philippines who intend to take the test with us may have a representative process payment for them. Overseas applicants may also pay through bank transfers provided they make prior arrangement with our office. To use this facility, please send an email to britishcouncil@britishcouncil.org.ph.
Step 4: Submit the application form together with the requirements and test fee. There are three ways to do this:
Drop off at the British Council. Registration is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to SaturdayAt registration you or your agent will be issued with an official receipt and a confirmation letter indicating the test schedule and venue.
CANDIDATES WITH SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSIn order to ensure that the language ability of all candidates is assessed fairly and objectively, IELTS provides a comprehensive service for candidates who have special requirements, including specific learning difficulties, hearing difficulties and visual difficulties.
If you require a modified version of the test, for example in Braille, you must give the test centre three months’ notice. This notice period is necessary for the modified test version to be prepared. If your circumstances require only special administrative arrangements to be made, such as extra time, you must give the test centre six weeks’ notice. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:During registration at the British Council, you will be advised of the venue. A letter together with an official receipt will be given confirming the exam. If the venue is not confirmed at time of registration, you can do one of the following:

The Speaking test is either scheduled on the same day as the written test or within up to five days before or after. For interviews following the main test your schedule and venue will be posted at the test venue after the written test. For advance speaking tests (those scheduled before the written test) you will be notified of the arrangements by phone or by email one week before your test.
The IELTS exam starts at exactly 9.00a.m. You should arrive at the test venue at 8.00a.m. to complete pre-test requirements and to check your candidate number and seat assignment.
