The UK's arts are amongst the most vibrant in the world, whether in theatres and galleries, the clubs and streets, or in the virtual world. Every year we run up to 2000 arts events, reaching an audience of millions, and nurturing long lasting relationships between artists internationally.

We support some of the best of UK artists to travel to Pakistan and give performances or collaborate with local artists. Through this we hope to give a modern, diverse picture of the UK, and promote better understanding between the UK and Pakistan. As well as high profile performances and exhibitions, we support workshops, seminars and online events.

Most of our arts work helps young people from the UK and Pakistan connect and explore cultural issues. Many of our projects support Connecting Futures, which is a new five-year initiative from the British Council to build deeper mutual understanding, learning and respect between young people from different cultural backgrounds.
