Bjørnson Festival    

The Norwegian Festival of International Literature
August 2003, Molde.
The festival showcases the result of a collaboration between young writers writing in Norwegian, German, Italian and Welsh. A volume was published with the texts translated into all languages.

The Edinburgh Festival    

August 2003
A week of the best performing arts in the UK.
From Norway our key partners attending the festival included Frazisca Aarflot from Det Åpne Teater and Tor Fosse from Bergen International Film Festival

Blackbox and Lone Twin    

Lone Twin: The Days of The Sledgehammer Have Gone
August 2003
Blackbox Theatre used the venue Blå for this Lone Twin performance - it's location by the Aker River was perfect for a performance involving cloud experiments and barrels of water.

Stavanger International Festival of Literature and Freedom of Speech

September 2003
Major international festival of literature in Norway. Also covers visual art, film, music and theatre. The main focus in 2003 was Scotland: literature, art and culture. Working partnership with CCA in Glasgow.

Northern Grammar    
September-November 2003
Art exhibition showcasing the work of Scottish artists including Douglas Gordon, Alisdair Gray, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Graham Fagan, Rose Thomas and Ann-Marie Copestake.    

Coda Dance Fest    

Deborah Saxon - workshops
September/October 2003
Deborah Saxon gave a series of eight open workshopsworkshops to students and young people. The main performing companies were Norwegian.

Mesen - Digital Arts at Oslo S    

October 2003
Working with ICA in London, digital art from the UK was shown on a large format screen in Oslo Central Station. The work of 10 British artists was shown.

British Design Week    

October 2003
The first of a three year collaboration between BC and Norsk Form (Graphic Design, Architecture and Industrial Design). Talks, workshops and competition.
