Next Generation Science

Next Generation Science (NGS) is a series of science based activities for young people in collaboration with top scientists and academic institutions.
Talented science students, 16–19 years old, from the UK and the Netherlands will explore topical themes including genetics and identity, sustainability, and climate change. The intention is to encourage the perception of an international career in science as exciting and empowering.

The NGS Schools Partnership Plan is a scheme to provide a grant to NGS schools that have already participated in the UK-Netherlands NGS programme.
This includes the schools that were involved in the Rotterdam-London Programme which ran between October 2005 and March 2006 and the Wageningen-Durham Programme which ran from October 2006 until March 2007.
