Learning Centre (LC) is a study centre which provides varieties of information services and resources for Learners and Teachers of English, IELTS exam candidates and BC programme stake holders. LC supports these groups to enhance their educational and professional skills with E- resources such as English Language CD-ROMs, varieties of useful websites and online news papers.

We can provide you with the help and professional advice on materials you need and explain how to use them.

Our Centre is a venue for presentations and workshops for British Council stakeholders and learners and teachers of English and for cultural events.

Himalayan Readers' Book Club

The Himalayan Readers' Book Club (HRBC) was formed by a group of enthusiastic readers with support of British Council Learning Centre and they have been meeting regularly in the British Council, Lainchaur to discuss the books since 2005. Contact us for more information.
