I heard about the British Council from a friend who was preparing for a Masters degree in the UK. The British Council has helped me focus on what I want to do at the university. Firstly, it has given me a clear and precise explanation on how the British education operates. Secondly, it has helped me find the appropriate course by providing me with university catalogues. More importantly, I received all the necessary help and advice to start off my education in the UK. I was glad that I undertook a foundation year rather than English course. The Moral support I received was extremely valuable.
Looking back at the last 4 years, I do realise that the British Council has played a major role in my education career. Not only was the British Council a source of guidance but a key to my success in education in particular and in life in general.
For me UK was just a cold country full of British citizens who did not have much sense of humour! During my study period, which has lasted for more than 4 years, I have discovered so much about the country. Although quite cold, the UK is a very beautiful country and very attractive as well. Studying in the UK also means meeting people from different nationalities and backgrounds. UK universities are very cosmopolitan and this is an opportunity for every student to discover new cultures.
I have studied in the UK:
Certificates and Awards:
The United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.
A registered charity: 209131 (England and Wales) SC037733 (Scotland)
