An elementary exam, at Cambridge level one which can be achieved after approximately 180–200 hours of learning and is about halfway to PET.
It tests the most basic communication needed in everyday situations and is suitable for students aged thirteen and over.
Exam papers and times:
Reading and Writing: from 1400 to 1510
Listening: from 1530 to1600
Speaking: 8 to 10 minutes

How do I pay for examinations?
If you are from another city other than Rabat or Casablanca, you can deposit the fee in the British Council bank account: For more information about the bank account, contact Sara Meksi on 05 22 52 93 60. Please don't forget to mention your name and KET in the bank receipt.
You need to send afterwards the payment receipt either by fax to 05 22 52 09 64 or make it scanned to the following email address: exams.morocco@britishcouncil.org along with your completed KET application, a scanned photo (JPG Format) and a scanned copy of your ID /passport.
Once you are registered with Cambridge ESOL (i.e. after the registration deadline) no refund or rescheduling is possible. However, A candidate who withdraws on medical grounds or misses the exam because of illness will receive a refund less 400 MAD administration fees. A statement/medical report MUST be handed in with the refund request.
We need a minimum of 10 candidates per session. If this number is not met, the session will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.However candidate
Important: The British Council will not accept liability for any delays in postal and banking services. Cheques must be drawn in favour of the British Council, crossed Account Payee, and endorsed on the reverse with Candidate Name, Passport number and Address.
Schools
If you have more than 25 students we can organize the test in your school ( in Casablanca or Rabat and for more than 50 students in other cities). Extra dates are available for schools. You need to contact us at the beginning of the school year or as soon as possible.
