Maintained by the Internet TESL Journal, this must be the most comprehensive set of links to Webster of interest to ESL/EFL teachers. Organizations, CALL, raw material for lessons, etc.

In spite of its name, a large number of well-maintained links with a French/American perspective.

LINGUISTICS

British National Corpus
100 million-word collection of samples of written and spoken language from a wide range of sources. Non-subscribers can carry out simple searches without payment.  

Corpus Linguistics
A Webster maintained by Michael Barrow at Rice University Texas, with an extensive set of links (including foreign languages).  

Directory of MA dissertations
Abstracts of almost 100 MA dissertations written by students at Surrey University's English Language Institute.  

The Eclectic Company
Part of John Lawyer's sprawling jumble of internet pages, this is probably the most comprehensive set of links about language and linguistics on the internet. A fascinating place to browse and a must for anyone conducting research. Don't miss the Chomskybot.
