The Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme run by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), in cooperation with the Chevening Scholarship scheme, will offer 5 scholarships at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, starting in the academic year 2012-13.

Candidates must apply through the official University of Oxford application process by 20 January 2012.

The Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme is a UK based programme which provides scholarships to potential leaders and young professionals looking to study at the University of Oxford.  Successful scholars will undertake a one year Public Policy masters degree at the Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford.

The FCO/Weidenfeld have agreed to jointly fund 5 awards and nationals from the following countries are eligible to apply: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mongolia, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestinian Authority, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Yemen.
