British Council Saudi Arabia has been running Springboard women’s self development programmes since the year 2004. More than 600 women have taken part in these programmes and a cadre of 11 Springboard trainers has been created.
What did Saudi women say about their experience in the programme?
‘Springboard is a turning point in my life. In the past, my mind was occupied with worries, and fear from the coming future. Springboard fills my inner soul with hope, and desire to start up a new life with fixed goals to achieve’. Nivine, Teacher.
‘I was looking at the world from a small window and now the window has disappeared and I can see a very challenging world in front of me that I am ready for’. Suad, Housewife.
‘This programme is really the starting point for a whole new life that is full of energy, ambition, hope and happiness’. Sara, School Principal.
