VOCATIONAL COURSES

Vocational courses are practical in approach and provide students with work-related skills and experience. They are available throughout the UK in a wide range of subjects and at a number of different levels.

Many UK vocational courses do not have specific entry requirements, so no matter what qualifications you currently have, you should be able to find a course that suits you. Some vocational courses meet the entrance requirements for undergraduate study, allowing you to supplement practical skills with academic knowledge.

Specific vocational qualifications include the General National Vocational Qualification (GNVQ), and the BTEC/EDEXCEL First Diploma, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma (HND).

International students can study for vocational qualifications at independent schools, tutorial colleges, Further Education colleges and some Higher Education institutions.

Iranian students with a high school diploma may qualify to apply for these courses.
