Skills for Employability Enterprise Challenge Final 2010 Central and South Asia winner is Kazakhstan

The Skills for Employability Enterprise Challenge Final 2010 for Central and South Asia ran a competition combining online public voting and a judging panel.

The votes have been counted up and we are delighted to announce that Kazakhstan is this year's winner.

Congratulations to the winning team in what was a close-run race and to everyone who took part in the competitions this year.

Congratulations also to the five lucky winners of our prize draw for on-line voters, and who have received an iPod.

Background to the Competition

Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan and Uzbekistan ran Enterprise Challenge competitions, highlighting excellence in enterprise, innovation and technology. The teams that won their national competitions took part in the Central and South Asia final.

The Enterprise Challenge competitions help young people to build their confidence and prepare for the world of work.

The criteria for the judging panel were creativity, relevance, clarity of the message, and overall impact. They looked for the best idea that they felt was unique, inspirational and effective in today’s society.
