EDUCATION PARTNERSHIPS IN AFRICA

EXPERIENCE AND BEST PRACTICE

ADVICE AND BEST PRACTICE FROM EPA EVENTS AND PARTNERSHIP PROJECTS

EPA Project Managers' Workshop

"A supportive environment for the discussion of project issues' was how the Project Managers' Workshop was described by one of the EPA Project Managers.

More than thirty Project Managers came together from partner universities and further education colleges for an EPA Project Managers' Workshop this November at Novotel, Manchester. The aim was to get to know each others' projects and also an opportunity to discuss common issues and offer suggestions for overcoming problems.

The workshop was a forum to:

Develop approaches to best practice for UK-Africa partnerships
Discuss issues and share positive experiences to learn from each other
Focus on ways to help achieve core EPA objectives, specifically employer-engagement
Facilitate networking for more links between similar partnerships for increased EPA impact

Discussion groups which were chaired by EPA partners made this quite an interactive event. Read more about the issues and outcomes under the following discussion themes on partnership:
