So Far, So Near

Dreaming day and night
Of your sweet tender voice

Is what I am feeling right?
Or loving from far is my choice?

Six weeks, seven days
His time to come, to love, to share

He will appear from far I say
Spreading his light down everywhere

Now he's here, near in body
But is he near in soul?

My heart moves, shakes,
Pumps so bad, he will fall...

Today I wonder if what I did was right
To be within myself and let my heart fight
To lose someone so special like you
And never to let out even a slight clue

I confess I was always crazy about you
I confess I couldn't stop falling in love with you
You filled my empty feeling within
For you were with me through thick and thin

Every time I spoke to you
The more I fell in love with you
I had no choice but to let it go
For I could bear an empty heart, but not lose a smile that made the dark glow

I saw my dream breaking, and yet I held back my tears
To fulfil your dreams which you always whispered close to my ears
I was in pain and yet I pretended to be strong
As I always wished for you to be right and me to be wrong

I always felt this could not happen, you cannot be mine
In just a moment my world would change
But I will still pretend to be fine

I stayed quiet even when you said
I am going away,
My heart wanted you to stop
But my lips didn't have the strength to say
Holding back everything, I saw you go away

There is no-one who can take your place
For I have stitched my heart with your love's lace
Captured in it is the memoir of your face
For I would never find again this beauty and grace

Now it makes me wonder
Wonder if I had committed a blunder
Wonder if you ever felt the same
Wonder if your heart skipped a beat
Every time I mentioned your name

I should have expressed the way I felt
Whatever the consequence I would have dealt
But now you are gone, gone forever
I long to see you
A hope that may be next to never

Oh my Valentine, will you be mine!

On this special day I tear my heart
to say
I will love you forever whether it's
night or day
you are my queen, you are my
princess
you are everything, my heart ever
wishes

All I ask you is for your love
for in your eyes, I see the heavens
above
for in your hair, I see the
beautiful night
for on your face, I see the radiant
moonlight

with every pulse of my vein
I wish to take your name

I wish to hold you in my arms tight
I wish to kiss you goodnight every
night
I wish to hold your hands with love
and walk all the way to the stars
above

It's not your body I wish to seek
but the beauty within, that's much
more deep
it may be just a body part
but for me it's your beautiful heart

I will never, break your trust
I will never, break your heart
I will never, make you cry
and if I do, I hope I die

today all this may sound fake
but it isn't for my heart is at
stake
today all this may sound lies
but it isn't, just look in to my
eyes

a day will come when our love will
shine
a day when I can call you mine
I hope it is today, I hope it is now
I hope it is possible somehow

but till then, what ever it takes, I
will wait
for you are my destiny, and within
you lies my fate.

so many nights

So many nights I search for you in the sky
But it's so dark and empty
Since you are gone from my side
With you died all my interest to live
Nobody can answer my questions
And nobody can console my heart

So many nights I run away from the pain
You take my breath with you
I still believe in you
You will always be in my mind
I know you can't ever come back to me
Oh please, please come back to me

So many nights I think of you
Your smile is always in my eyes
Your voice is always in my ears
Your warmth is always in my heart
I just live in memories

You were all my life
You were the blue in the sea
The brightest star in the sky
My rainbow between the clouds
The focus all of the suns
You were my whole mind
You know I don't know who I am without you
