Changes at the Information Centre

British Council is planning changes to the way we operate in Europe. The British Council’s objective in Europe will be to respond to the challenges Europe faces in becoming an increasingly open, creative, competitive and global player.

We will do this by bringing together Europe’s next generation of leaders to tackle issues of shared concern with future leaders in the UK and the wider world. The UK shares many values and objectives with our partners in Europe.

We are no longer offering public access information services in most of our offices in the European Union. Thus Information centre in Vilnius is closed from 14 December 2007 to reopen in our partner institution in September 2008 at Menų Spaustuvė (Šiltadaržio g. 6, Vilnius). We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to meeting you soon.

Please, call to find the opening date of the new Information Centre in September tel. (8 ~ 5) 264 4890, or visit the web sites www.britishcouncil.lt and www.menuspaustuve.lt

While our ways of working will change, our commitment to Europe remains unchanged.
