Hornby Trust
The Hornby Trust is aimed at helping teachers of English, particularly in countries, such as Bangladesh, where there is scope to improve levels of English. The Turst makes funds available to support teachers to study and improve their English teaching skills.
Hornby Trust scholarships are not given to every country annually, but are awarded to a selected group of countries and regions each year. This means we are not able to award scholarships on an annual basis, but we will update this site as and when the scholarships become available.
Candidates for Hornby Trust awards will require a mimimum IELTS score of 6.0.
Bank of England Educational Trust Fellowship
The Bank of England offers fellowships for nationals working in the banking sector in developing countries, including Bangladesh. The fellowships are not offered to each country every year, but we will update this site as and when a fellowship becomes available for a Bangladesh national.
The fellowship is for one year, and is available for applicants working in the private commercial banking sector, with a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience. Candidates must have a first degree, an IELTS score of 6.0, and prepared to return to work for their employer for at least one year after completing the fellowship.

OSI/FCO CHEVENING CAMBRIDGE COMMONWEALTH TRUST SCHOLARSHIPS
The OSI/FCO Chevening Scholarships, which are jointly funded by the Open Society Institute, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the University of Cambridge, are intended to provide opportunities for postgraduate study in selected fields in the United Kingdom for scholars and young professionals.
