Focus on Skills

Improve your English through everyday speaking

Do you want to enhance your English skills? Take advantage of these courses to develop your weaker areas.

Depending on demand we offer courses to develop speaking and listening, reading and writing, for example: Focus on Speaking is a topic based course which aims to enhance your speaking skills. Entrance levels are at Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate.

Key features

A wide range of topics are chosen to help you expand your vocabulary   
The functional approach to this course enhances natural use of English   
Pronunciation is an integrated part of the course   
Spontaneous communication practice is used to help you identify your areas of strength and weakness   
Presentations, role-plays, videos and simulations are used to stimulate group discussions and to identify language areas that need developing   
Authentic texts from newspapers and magazines to stimulate natural discussion   
Individual counselling   
New students must sit for a placement test consisting of a written test and an interview   

Please note that we do not offer classes for people who cannot read or write in English

Fees

Placement test: JOD 10.00 (non refundable)

Course fees for new and existing students: JOD 200.00

*Please note that we operate on a first come-first served basis and that booking and sitting for a placement test does not necessarily guarantee you a place in the course but it gives you the opportunity to register for future courses.

Enrolment policy

We follow a ‘first-come first-served’ policy. Priority of enrolment will be given to students who register first. Please note that sitting for the placement test does not guarantee you a place. You will only be guaranteed a place on paying the full course fee.

Payment policy

  1. All payments should be made in full.
  2. We accept only cash, cheques and visa credit cards.
  3. All payments should be in Jordanian Dinar.
  4. If you are a sponsored candidate, you should bring a formal letter from your sponsoring body undertaking to pay the full fees.
