Franco-British ‘Tandem’
To celebrate the French Presidency of the EU, 27 bilateral projects, or ‘tandem’ events, have been created by artists from all EU member countries collaborating with French partners. The French actress, Juliette Binoche, has teamed up with acclaimed British dancer and choreographer, Akram Khan, for a new creation called ‘in-i’ at the Theatre de la Ville in Paris.
With set design by Turner Prize winner Anish Kapoor, and music composed by Phillip Sheppard, in-i will debut first at the National Theatre in London before coming to Paris in November.
