What is NACPME?
NACPME (National Advice Centre for Postgraduate Medical Enquiries) is an information service for overseas-qualified doctors who wish to train in the UK, run on behalf of the UK Department of Health.
What does NACPME do?
NACPME aims to provide doctors with as much information as they need either before coming to the UK or during their stay here.
NACPME provides information in the following areas:
registration with the General Medical Council (EEA and non-EEA)
Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) test and Categories of Exemption
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Overseas Doctors Training Scheme (ODTS)
specialist training
general information on; immigration, employment, postgraduate courses and Royal College examinations.
Please note that NACPME cannot obtain posts or attachments for doctors nor can it lobby the CMT or other authorities on behalf of doctors.
