Does the British Council provide consultation services (university, schools and course consultation) for study in the UK?   

No, we do not provide consultation services as we don't have a self-access centre facility for students anymore. Hence, all information regarding study in the UK is accessible through the  Education UK website. We still accept general consultations by phone/e-mail. However, for further assistance students will be directed to education agent partners.   

Does the British Council provide assistance regarding university and visa application processes? If no, where can we obtain this assistance?   

No, all university and visa application processes can be handled through agent partners or directly to PT VFS Indonesia. You can find information on visa application details from the British Embassy website or through our Destination UK page.    

Do we have to pay for the services provided by the education agents?    

Yes, please contact agents as they charge different fees for their service.

Do agents cater for all of the UK's Educational institutions or for selected institutions only?   

Each agent only caters for selected institutions which they officially represent. To know which agent to go to, kindly contact the Education UK team for further information or use the Agent Zone facility.
