DelPHE is a Higher Education partnership programme designed to tackle global poverty and sustainable development. The programme is funded by the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) and managed by us. The programme will provide funding to support partnerships between Higher Education Institutions working on collaborative activity linked to the UN Millennium Development Goals.
Details of fundingProject proposals for the fifth round of funding are invited from Indian institutions. Proposals are encouraged to cover a wide range of subjects including Science and Technology, Engineering, Governance and Human Rights, and Business and Enterprise.
Funding is normally provided for three-years ranging from £15,000 - £50,000.
Our projectsCurrently, there are eight projects running in India with prestigious institutions like Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and Calcutta University as lead partners.
