Once you know that your bid has been approved we hope that these materials will help you to prepare for your overseas experience. Sources of information about education and culture in your destination country will also be provided in due course.

Visit Templates
We negotiate study visit programmes according to the outline template and we hope it will give teachers an idea of how they will spend their time overseas. The balance of activities may be adjusted by overseas hosts according to the theme of the visit, the capacity of local schools and other practical considerations.

5 Day Placement (MS Word)

Visits usually last five working days. Travel days will be in addition to this..

SWOT analysis (MS Word)
Teachers (and Group Leaders in LA visits) should work together on their application and undertake a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis in preparation for their visit.  If you are not familiar with this process we hope the attached guidance will be helpful.

Insurance (MS Word)
All participants in the TIPD programme are covered by a bespoke travel insurance policy. Summary levels of cover are shown on the attached document.  Complete details will be provided to groups in advance of departure.
