A total of 280 guests, including UK alumni from 14 associations and guests of the British Council, celebrated together the first ever Christmas Ball, organised by the British Council Hong Kong at the Four Seasons Hotel on 23 December 2005.
The night was filled with joy and laughter both at the cocktail reception, at the dinner table and on the dance floor. The networking opportunities were highly praised by the alumni who took part.
Due to the venue's capacity, we were not able to entertain all interested parties and hence brought disappointments to guests who were on the waiting list. Therefore, a larger scale event is already being planned for 1 December 2006 at the Intercontinental Hong Kong.
