IMAGINE YOUR FUTURE IN A CHANGING CITY BOOK LAUNCH   

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the bilingual book (Greek–English) entitled Imagine Your Future in a Changing City, published by IANOS Publications.

The book is a collection of the ten winning short stories on intercultural dialogue entered for the Living Together Short Story Competition we launched in November 2008.

The book will be discussed by:

Romesh Gunesekera, writer, nominated for the Booker & Guardian Prize for his book Reef, 1994   
Lena Divani, Professor of History of Foreign Affairs, Athens Law School   
Gasmend Kapllani, writer and journalist   

An open discussion with the audience on The relationship between literature, society and politics in the era of multiculturalism will follow. The discussion will be facilitated by Dimitris Yolasis, Director of IANOS, Athens.

The publication also includes a supplement of images and panoramas inspired by the theme of the competition created by the visual artist Theodore Chryssikos.

Elina Tsalikoglou has translated the book from Greek to English.
