CAFÉ SCIENTIFIQUE

MARS: RED OR DEAD?
Should space exploration be manned or robotic?
Do the benefits of space exploration outweigh the enormous cost?
Finally, what will we find when we get there?

Join us to discuss the science of great ideas over some coffee and drinks, raise questions, exchange views and explore the latest breakthroughs in planetary missions and space research. A great panel of UK scientists and young people from the UK and the Czech Republic are ready to challenge your views.

Café Scientifique is a partnership between the National Space Centre UK, the British Council Greece and the British Council Czech Republic. All sites will be connected via videoconferencing. Dr George Zarkadakis, Director of Focus Magazine, will be our facilitator.

When: Wednesday 13 October 2004, 2015–2300.
Where: British Council, 17 Kolonaki Square, Athens, Greece.
