We provide a wide variety of English language courses for adults at all levels from Beginners to Proficiency, so there’s sure to be one that meets your needs!
All English Courses for Adults are 100 hours long at 6 hours per week (3 hours twice a week).
Our Beginners Courses are designed to:
meet your needs if you have little or no previous experience of learning English
introduce you to the culture of the English-speaking world
bring your language skills to the level where you’ll be able to use basic English in a variety of practical and social situations
give you the confidence to communicate in English
provide a variety of modern teaching techniques that include pair and group work, and technology such as video, computers, CD-ROMs and interactive web resources.
Our KET, PET and FCE Preparation Courses are designed to:
meet your needs if you have reached an elementary level of English
bring you up to the level of the Cambridge ESOL First Certificate in English (FCE)
provide systematic development of language and skills
improve your ability and confidence when using spoken and written English in a wide variety of situations
provide a variety of modern teaching techniques that include pair and group work, and technology such as video, computers, CD-ROMs and interactive web resources
provide thorough preparation for the Cambridge ESOL Key English Test (KET), Preliminary English Test (PET) and First Certificate in English (FCE) exams by familiarising you with the format of the exams and training you in essential exam techniques.
Our CAE and CPE Preparation Courses are designed to:
meet your needs if you have reached the level of the Cambridge ESOL First Certificate in English (FCE)
help you to achieve a level of English close to that of an educated native speaker
provide a variety of modern teaching techniques that include pair and group work, and technology such as video, computers, CD-ROMs and interactive web resources
provide thorough preparation for the Cambridge ESOL Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) by familiarising you with the format of the exams and training you in essential exam techniques
