BRITISH COMEDY MONTH

February 2006 is British Comedy Month in Athens!

The most popular form of live entertainment in British comedy clubs is stand-up comedy and the British Council and the Comedy Club in Athens are delighted to present three leading British comics, directly from the stand-up comedy scene.

Each comic presents his or her own hilarious, provocative and unconventional approach to British humour:

Owen O’Neill
Owen provides the Irish take.

Lucy Porter
Lucy has performed at venues all over the UK including some of London’s most prestigious clubs.
16 & 17 February 2006, 10 p.m.

In addition to the performances, the British comics will take part in a series of interactive workshops with the Athens Comedy Club team and a limited number of Greek comics.
